“Together, we are growing a forest for the future” – Tasa Meng digs deep for conservation
Taiwanese travel retailer Tasa Meng teamed up with New Taipei City Government and 14 other companies to plant nine species of native trees and shrubs at Daguan Elementary School in Banqiao on Arbor Day (12 March).
This initiative creates ‘Ecological Thickets’ with multi-layered environments, enhancing conservation while providing students with a diverse outdoor classroom.

By planting native species such as Red Nanmu and Kousa Dogwood, Tasa Meng aims to ensure a resilient ecosystem that can thrive in Taiwanese climate conditions while providing the best food and shelter for native birds and pollinators.

Volunteers from Tasa Meng Education Foundation, teachers and the other companies involved worked with New Taipei City Government in building these ‘Ecological Thickets’.
Tasa Meng Education Foundation focused on educational heritage, turning the campus into a meaningful ecological site where environmental awareness takes root through action.
“Together, we are growing a forest for the future,” the retailer said. ✈
